ZunoIQ is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over your information when you use zunoiq.ai.
1. Information We Collect
a) Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash). If you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google.
b) Study Content
PDFs, images, and text you upload for processing. This content is stored securely and used solely to generate your study aids (summaries, flashcards, quizzes).
c) Usage Data
Quiz attempts, scores, XP, streaks, and activity logs - used to power your dashboard, leaderboard, and learning analytics.
d) Payment Data
We do not store your card details. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a transaction confirmation and your subscription status from Razorpay after a successful payment.
e) Technical Data
IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies - collected automatically to operate and secure the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To generate AI-powered study content from your uploads.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To display your progress, XP, streaks, and leaderboard position.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, payment confirmation, password reset).
- To improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Razorpay - for payment processing.
- AI API provider - to process your uploaded content and generate study material. Content is sent via API and not retained beyond processing.
- Database hosting provider - for secure database storage.
- Application hosting provider - hosted on a trusted, industry-standard cloud hosting platform.
- Legal authorities, if required by applicable law.
4. Cookies
We use session cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect login functionality.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@zunoiq.ai. Anonymised analytics may be retained for up to 2 years.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access-controlled databases. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
ZunoIQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time.
